1994 Dieter started to collect Oldschool BMX Parts. Rainers Race Bikes were fully restored and the bought some old stuff from some remaining Distributors. In 1999 first orders came in for oldschool parts from freaks who wanted to rebuild their 1984 bmx bike. At the Eurobike Show in 2004 the sound was louder for a cheap and good bmx bike for beginners. BARCODE BMX Machines was the Keyword on ebays platform. Since 2003 Old School BMX'ers have enjoyed not only participating in the BMX Vet Cup at Weiterstadt, Germany, but also having their bikes on display at the Old School Bike Show on the premises.
For 2004, our new facility includes BMX museum, shop, warehouse and presentation of our current BMX bike line-up.
Now old and new bikes stand next to each other in Rainers Bike Shop and not a small amount of beginners say , I want this old skyway bike!

Bericht vom 14. Veteranen Cup mit Old School Bike Show am 26. April 2008 in Weiterstadt.

Die präsentierten Bikes aus den frühen ´80er Jahren wurden liebevoll wieder hergerichtet, mit Neuteilen oder Neuverchromung und Neulackierung. Inzwischen gibt es auch die Aufkleber zu reellen Preisen und die Polstersets ebenso. Von den 45 aufgestellten Bikes gaben 22 Fahrer die ausgefüllten Bewertungsbögen ab.
Die strengen Gutachter Rainer Schadowski und Frank Kolbe vergaben die Punkte nach Pflegezustand, Authentizität, Ära korrekt, Style und fahrbereiter Zustand. Die Bike Marken waren bunt gemischt.
Rainer´s Bike Shop erinnerte an sein Firmenjubiläum und 25 Jahre Zusammenarbeit mit Schauff in Remagen.
Zwei Schauff BMX Bikes aus chromoly Rohren und Teilen aus den frühen Jahren zeichnen die Bikes in limited Edition aus.
Einen weiteren Höhepunkt setzte Thomas Greis aus Willich. Zum Jubiläum schenkte uns der Konditormeister aus Willich die BMX Bahn aus Weiterstadt vom Start bis zum Ziel auf einem 40 x 60 cm großen Kuchenblech.
Prominenter Besuch kam aus Holland zum Veteranen Cup, um vor Ort die Rennen und die Bike Show life zu erleben. Gerrit Does und Louis Vrijdag konnten sich über Details informieren, als Vorbereitung auf die BMX Reunion in Slagharen vom 3.-5. Oktober 2008. Siehe hierzu die Infos unter www.univofbmx.com.

Some Pics of Veteranencup 2007
A total of 40+ Old School Bikes were present for judging at renewed Weiterstadt International BMX Raceway on 09-29-07. The top ten bikes were presented with a certificate by the judges. Düsseldorf resident Robert Möller took King of Old School honors with his Diamond Back Harry Leary Turbo. Elmar Henrich out of Bad Hersfeld took the win in Old School Bike Show, all other show results please see below. Old School Freestyle Bikes are slowly coming onto the scene. Other Custom Bike highlights included Holger Godaus`s Redline GPV and Ingo Schneider`s 1990 GT Pro with 2-tone paint and chrome as well as custom decal set. Also well-representing Germany's Old School BMX line-up of the past are the 4 Hutch riders who will be a great sight in upcoming events: Weiterstadt, Germany, in 26. April 2008 and celebration of 30years of BMX in Europe 3.-5. October 2008 in Slagharen, NL.
